KATHMANDU: Three passengers were injured when a bus overturned at Charkhole Golai in Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-6 along the Koshi Highway on Sunday morning.
The bus, registration number Ko 1 Kha 5105, was travelling from Dharan to Terhathum when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn by the roadside.
The injured have been identified as 11-year-old Numa Limbu, 69-year-old Kabiraj Thapa and 56-year-old Shukamaya Limbu, all residents of Chhathar Rural Municipality in Terhathum.
A police team from the Bhedetar Area Police Office rescued the injured and transported them to B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan. Police said all three are in stable condition and that an investigation into the incident is underway.
