KATHMANDU: The government has designated three locations to collect relief materials to facilitate relief distribution for Bhotekoshi flood victims.
According to National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, the relief materials sent from abroad via air route would be collected at National Emergency Warehouse located at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Similarly, relief materials would also be collected at Nepal Army’s Maithili Barrack in Battar if Nuwakot, and Nepal Army Barrack in Baireni, Dhading.
The collected relief materials would be distributed at flood-hit areas as per the need, shared the Authority. Those willing to provide relief assistance for flood victims must deliver the relief materials at the designated locations.
Those willing to provide relief materials at TIA-based National Emergency Warehouse could contact WFP representative Shraddha Bhatta (9841879222), Abiskar of Nepali Army (9851234324) at Maithali Barracks, Battar and Dilip Ghale (9851154226) at Baireni Barracks, Dhading.
Similarly, relief materials could also be provided through chief district officer of respective district, it is shared.
Likewise, those willing to provide financial assistance in Prime Ministers Disaster Relief Fund could deposit amount at dollar account of Himalayan Bank as well as at Standard Chartered Bank Nepal, Rastriya Banijya Bank, Nepal Bank Limited, Global IME Bank, Nabil Bank through QR code, added the Authority.
