GORKHA: A 45-year-old tractor driver from Chitwan, Mohan Bahadur Bohara, died after being crushed by the tractor he was driving in Majhgaunbesi, Siranchok Rural Municipality–4, Gorkha, on Sunday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Shrestha of the District Police Office, Gorkha, Bohara was seriously injured when the tractor, registration number Ga 1 Ta 7548, crushed him while he was leaving after ploughing the field of local resident Hari Pokhrel.
He was initially taken to Provincial Hospital, Gorkha, for treatment. As his condition could not be treated there, he was referred to National City Hospital in Chitwan, where he died during treatment, police said.
