KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan University has postponed scheduled MBS examinations at 11 examination centers in Madhesh Province due to the deteriorating security situation in several districts.
In a notice issued on Friday, the university said the examinations at the affected centers would remain suspended until further notice. TU said the decision was taken considering the safety of examinees and the overall environment required for conducting examinations.
The affected centers include Ram Swaroop Ramsagar Multiple Campus in Janakpur, Sarlahi Campus Malangwa, Janajyoti Multiple Campus Lalbandi, Surya Narayan Satya Narayan Morbaita Yadav Campus in Siraha, JS Murarka Multiple Campus in Lahan, Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus in Rajbiraj, National People College Kanchanpur, Janajyoti Multiple Campus Chandranigahapur, Gaurishankar Yadav Rautahat Campus in Gaur, Simara College in Bara, and Thakur Ram Multiple Campus in Birgunj. TU clarified that examinations at all other centers will be conducted as per the previously published schedule.
