Two held with 63 sets of mobile phones without invoice

CHITWAN: Police have arrested two persons along with 63 sets of mobile phones without invoices.

The District Police Office, Chitwan informed that a person Dipak Prasain was arrested on a tip off that he was selling digital gazettes without official trade records. Prasain was held from Hakimchowk of Bharatpur Metropolis-10.

The phone sets Prasain was selling were of various brands, including Apple, Samsung, Redme and Vivo. Technical accessories used for the mobile phones were also seized by the police from him, according to an information officer at the District Police Office, Chandra Bhusan Yadav.

Similarly, another Umnand Bhusal, 28, was arrested for his involvement in supplying mobile phones without invoice. He was held from Ramnagar of Bharatpur Metropolis-1. Five mobile sets were seized from him.

Prasain and Bhusal were taken under control two days back.

Both of the arrested ones have been sent to Birgunj Customs Office to forward legal action against them. Even the seized items have been provided to the Customs Office.
