KAVRE: Two people were killed and three others critically injured when a Bolero jeep plunged about 200 meters off the road in Syaulithali of Khanikhola Rural Municipality-1 today.
The accident occurred along the Panauti–Taldhunga inner road after the jeep lost control and veered off the mountainside.
The identities of the two people who died at the scene have not yet been established. The three injured passengers are in critical condition and arrangements are being made to take them to a hospital for treatment.
Police and ambulance teams have reached the site and are carrying out rescue operations.
