SURKHET: Two people, including the driver, went missing after a jeep traveling from Surkhet to Salyan fell into the Bheri River on Wednesday afternoon.
The jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3022) lost control and plunged into the river near Laharebagar while heading toward Sallibazar from Baluwasangrahi.
Following the accident, the vehicle, the driver, and another passenger were swept away and reported missing.
Two other passengers on board managed to swim to safety unharmed.
A search operation is currently underway to locate the missing driver and passenger, and further details regarding the incident are being gathered.
