TAMSAS: Police have arrested two traders for selling illegal firecrackers in Gulmi. The individuals were taken into custody on Sunday from their shops located in Khanigaun, Resunga Municipality-8.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Birendra Bishwokarma of the District Police Office, Gulmi, the arrested individuals are 28-year-old Krishna Sah, operator of Maila General Stores, and 21-year-old Nishant Pun, operator of Jagriti Suppliers. Sah is a native of Parwarspur Rural Municipality-2 in Bara district, while Pun is a resident of Gulmidarbar Rural Municipality-1 in Gulmi.
Police seized 10 packets of bullet crackers, 15 packets of King Cobra, and 16 packets of Thes Mini Bullet from Maila General Stores. Additionally, four packets of Mini Bullet, 11 packets of King Cobra, and 13 sparklers were confiscated from Jagriti Suppliers. Both suspects are currently being held at the District Police Office, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
