KATHMANDU: A senior UK representative has met Nepal’s Home Minister Sudan Gurung to reaffirm the longstanding friendship between the two countries and discuss cooperation in disaster preparedness, emergency response and modern policing.
The meeting focused on strengthening peer-to-peer partnerships between Nepali institutions and their counterparts in the UK, the UK representative said.
The discussions are part of an Investment and Expertise Partnership being developed between Nepal and the UK, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and delivering mutual benefits for the two countries.
