KATHMANDU: CPN-UML, the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) and Nepal Communist Party (Masal) have reached an agreement to cooperate on the formation of the Lumbini Provincial Government. The two-point agreement was signed on Wednesday following discussions among the three parties.
The agreement was signed by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, NCP Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, and NCP (Masal) General Secretary Mohan Bikram Singh.
According to the agreement, the three parties will work together in forming the Lumbini Provincial Government and in carrying out development and construction activities in the province.
They also agreed to cooperate in movements in support of national sovereignty, the Constitution and the republic, as well as in opposing any form of regression.
