KATHMANDU: Veel, an IT company founded by Nepali youth in the United States, has donated Rs 10 million to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for communities affected by recent floods in Nepal.
The company deposited the funds into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. According to the company, the donation was handed over to the relief fund through Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle.
The funds are designated to provide essential supplies, emergency assistance, and relief support to address the immediate needs of flood-affected families and communities.
Following the handover, Dilip Dhakal, founder and CEO of Vhil, stated that it is essential for everyone to stand together and support the affected communities during such difficult times. He added that the company would continue to seek ways to assist communities in need in the future.
