KATHMANDU: Venezuela has expressed condolences and solidarity with Nepal following the loss of lives and property caused by devastating floods, with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Félix Plasencia conveying the message during a telephone call with Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal on Saturday.
Plasencia, Venezuela’s minister of foreign affairs and international trade, conveyed condolences on behalf of President of Venezuela and the government and people of Venezuela. He also expressed support and solidarity with Nepal during the difficult situation.
Khanal thanked the Venezuelan president and government for their support and solidarity. He said the government was using all available resources for search, rescue and relief operations for people affected by the floods.
