KATHMANDU: Vice president Ram Sahaya Yadav has extended sorrow over the human casualties and loss of properties in a devastating Bhotekoshi flash flood occurred on Wednesday.
Through a statement today, he paid tributes to the Nepali citizens, foreign tourists and pilgrims who lost their lives in this disaster and wished for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
Vice President Yadav has requested everyone for proper treatment of the injured, wishing for the rescue of those affected by the calamity, the search for the missing and the speedy recovery of the injured.
“Government and security personnel are working actively to rescue and support those affected by the flood. In this difficult time, I request all Nepalis to unite and face the unimaginable disaster and provide all possible support from their respective levels”, he mentioned.
In this difficult time, Vice President Yadav has mentioned that it is a collective duty to support and help each other, urging all Nepalis to unite to face the calamity and help from their respective levels.
