KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology reported that the weather across Nepal will remain generally clear today. The country is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds.
According to the department, partial cloud cover is expected in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as the mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces. The weather in the hilly regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, along with most of the Terai region, is expected to remain mainly clear. However, some areas in the Terai may experience fog or mist.
The department also stated that there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in one or two locations within the mountainous regions and the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
