KATHMANDU: Widespread monsoon winds and a normally positioned trough line continue to affect weather patterns across Nepal, bringing generally cloudy skies and light to moderate rainfall across isolated areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, conditions will remain generally cloudy nationwide today, with moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning expected across many hilly areas, several high-altitude regions, and scattered plains locations.
Isolated heavy rainfall is forecast today for the high-altitude and hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati, the hills of Gandaki and Karnali, as well as the Terai belt of Lumbini Province.
Similar cloudy conditions will persist tonight, bringing scattered moderate showers nationwide alongside a chance of heavy rain in isolated plains areas of Koshi Province.
