KATHMANDU: The government has appointed Yangki Ukya as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Investment Board Nepal. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday decided to appoint her to the post.

Who is Yangki Ukya?
Newly appointed CEO Yangki Ukya is an expert in development economics and public policy. She has previously served as a Senior Policy Adviser at the Pacific Regional Office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Ukya holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. She has extensive experience in development economics, public policy, sustainable development, federal fiscal systems, climate and green economy, public investment and infrastructure development, and digital transformation.
