KATHMANDU: Armed Police Force Additional Inspector General Banshiraj Dahal has been dismissed from the service. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a press statement on Friday confirming that the decision to remove Dahal from his position is effective immediately.
According to the ministry, the departmental action was taken against Dahal for multiple violations of conduct, engaging in indisciplined activities, and actions that harmed the reputation and image of the government of Nepal and the organization in which he served.
The statement, issued by Ministry of Home Affairs spokesperson and Joint Secretary Ananda Kafle, formally announced the departmental action taken against the official.
