KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader and entrepreneur Binod Chaudhary has filed his candidacy for the post of vice-president in the party’s 15th general convention. He registered his nomination under the inclusive quota and appealed to the convention representatives for their support and votes.
Speaking to journalists after filing his candidacy, Chaudhary stated that he entered the election race to provide new energy and direction to the party while respecting its traditions. Highlighting that the foundation of an open economy in Nepal was established through the policies and initiatives of the Nepali Congress, he pledged to play a key role in creating an investment-friendly environment within the country.
‘My entire life has been spent on job creation and entrepreneurship. Regardless of how I understand politics, I have always been active in how to make the country prosperous and how to retain youth within the country,’ he said after the nomination.
Noting that the private sector is already representing the nation on the international stage, Chaudhary explained that his candidacy aims to connect the attraction and energy of the youth toward entrepreneurship and professionalism. He emphasized that everyone must move forward together to elevate the party and the nation to new heights.
