Butwal hospital donates over Rs 700,000 to Bhote Koshi flood victims

BUTWAL: Butwal Hospital has provided Rs 777,777 in financial aid to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for victims of the devastating Bhote Koshi River floods. The hospital, which has been providing healthcare services in Butwal for 25 years, stated that the donation is a gesture of solidarity with those affected by the disaster.

Hospital chairman Chunnaprasad Sharma Paudel handed over the cheque to Minister of Finance Dr. Swarnim Wagle. The handover event was also attended by hospital director and local representative Narishwor Sharma. According to Chairman Paudel, the funds were deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to assist with the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of the flood-affected citizens.

The 100-bed hospital, located at Jyotipath in Butwal, offers specialized healthcare services through its experienced medical staff and modern medical technology. The hospital administration further stated that it remains ready to provide additional health-related support as required during the disaster period.
