KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Council of Ministers has endorsed the annual budget for fiscal year of 2026/027.

Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel, also Minister for Education and Sports, informed after the meeting that the Cabinet meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers decided to endorse the budget.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is presenting the annual budget today at the joint meeting of the federal parliament.
