KATHMANDU: The Chinese government has provided Rs 11 million to support children affected by the Bhotekoshi flood. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song handed over the cheque to Minister for Education and Sports Sasmita Pokharel at the ministry today.
On the occasion, Minister Pokharel expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by China during the time of disaster. She expressed confidence that the necessary coordination and cooperation between Nepal and China would continue in the coming days.
Ambassador Chen stated that the funds were provided to directly support the children affected by the flood.
