KATHMANDU: The Department of Immigration has made arrangement whereby the foreign travel details would be accessible through the Nagarik app.
Issuing a press release today, the Department announced the new arrangement for Nepali citizens to receive details (international arrival and departure) through Nagarik app with an objective of making its services more secured, organised and technology-friendly.
With the implementation of this arrangement, the compulsion of the service seekers to be physically present or submit application physically at the Department to obtain travel details has been ended. According to the department, the personal details would remain fully secure as the passport details of the concerned individual is displayed within app.
Director and Spokesperson of the Department, Tika Ram Dhakal, shared that the new technology would save both time and cost of service seekers.
