KATHMANDU: Ajay Devgn’s upcoming thriller, Drishyam 3, is seeing strong momentum in advance bookings with four days remaining before its release on Gandhi Jayanti. The film has already generated a gross collection of 3.77 crore in India for its opening day, excluding blocked seats.
Currently, 6,500 shows are listed for advance bookings across the country, with 90,400 tickets sold so far. Key metro markets are leading the demand, with Maharashtra and Delhi/NCR both surpassing the 1 crore gross milestone ahead of the release. As of 2 PM on Sept. 28, Delhi recorded 1.04 crore in earnings from 992 shows, while Maharashtra grossed 1.21 crore from 1,512 shows.
Mumbai has reported 5 sold-out shows, with an additional sold-out show in Madhya Pradesh. The film, which also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Jaideep Ahlawat, is trending toward a significant opening day performance on Oct. 2. Industry observers suggest the film is on track to achieve one of the biggest opening days of Ajay Devgn’s career.
