A A+ A-

KATHMANDU: The Bollywood film Drishyam 3, titled Drishyam – The Conclusion, is set to hit theaters on Oct. 2. Based on advance booking trends and audience anticipation, the film is projected to secure an opening day collection exceeding 50 crore INR at the Indian box office.

The Drishyam franchise has maintained a strong fan base over the years. This final installment features Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar, facing off against Jaideep Ahlawat. The trailer has generated significant interest, and by opting for a new storyline rather than a remake, the producers have further fueled audience curiosity for the finale.

The film is scheduled for release on the Gandhi Jayanti holiday, which is expected to boost both advance sales and walk-in ticket purchases. Higher ticket pricing is also anticipated to contribute to the overall collection. Final pre-sales for the opening day have already surpassed the 20 crore INR mark.

Industry projections suggest that Drishyam 3 could earn between 57 and 62 crore INR net on its first day. If these figures are realized, it would mark the biggest opening of Ajay Devgn’s career. Additionally, the film is positioned to potentially record the sixth-highest opening in Bollywood history, surpassing the 57 crore INR opening achieved by Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
