KATHMANDU: The film ‘Gauthali’ has grossed over Rs 258.6 million at the box office, according to the latest report released by the Film Development Board. The data, which covers figures up to 11:59 pm on Sunday, Sept. 7, was made public on Monday.
Released on July 16, the film has been watched by 930,744 viewers to date. With this performance, ‘Gauthali’ has secured the second position on the list of highest-grossing films in the Nepali film industry, surpassing the record previously held by ‘Kabaddi-4’. ‘Purna Bahadurko Sarangi’ currently holds the top spot on the list.
Directed by Dr. Kapil Rijal, the film features performances by actors including Arun Chhetri, Simran Khadka, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire, Lunibha Tuladhar, Rabindra Jha, Ishwori Baral, Sanjog Rasaili, and Sita Devi Timilsina.
