KATHMANDU: The vote counting for the position of joint general secretary under the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress is currently underway. Election committee coordinator Prem Bahadur Khadka stated that the final results for the joint general secretary positions are expected to be made public by this afternoon.
According to the election committee, Ramhari Khatiwada and Ajay Babu Siwakoti are currently leading in the open category for the joint general secretary position, while Pratima Gautam is leading in the women’s category. The committee confirmed that the counting of votes for other candidates is also ongoing.
Meanwhile, coordinator Khadka noted that the counting of votes for central committee members representing the public relations department is now beginning.
