KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle met with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar in New Delhi. The meeting took place on the second day of Wagle’s visit to India, focusing on strengthening the long-standing bilateral relationship between the two nations.
During the discussion, the two leaders explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, with a particular emphasis on investment, energy, and connectivity. Minister Wagle expressed his gratitude to the Indian government for its support during the rescue and relief operations following the recent floods in Rasuwa.
Prior to this meeting, Minister Wagle held discussions with his Indian counterpart, Nirmala Sitharaman, on Friday. That meeting focused on matters of bilateral economic interests and mutual cooperation.
