KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to embark on a two-day visit to India this Thursday, according to sources from the Ministry of Finance.
During his trip, Minister Wagle is set to hold high-level meetings with his Indian counterpart, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.
The discussions are expected to focus on bilateral economic relations and other relevant issues. However, ministry sources confirmed that a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not on the official itinerary. Minister Wagle is scheduled to return home on Saturday.
