KATHMANDU: At least 35 people have died in floods and landslides triggered by incessant rainfall across the country since Sept. 24.
According to the Central Police News Room, Baglung recorded the highest number of fatalities with 12 deaths. Seven people died in Myagdi, five in Palpa and four in Manang. Single fatalities were reported in Dhanusa, Makwanpur, Dhading, Kavre, Rolpa, Dolpa and Rukum West.
The disasters have left 15 people injured. Those injured are currently receiving treatment at local hospitals.
