KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal held a meeting with the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Nepal, Hanaa Singer-Hamdy, represented by Leila Peters Yahia. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation between Nepal and the United Nations.
During the discussion, both sides focused on enhancing mutual collaboration and Nepal’s ongoing preparations for participation in UN-related forums. Minister Khanal expressed appreciation for the contributions made by the United Nations and other international organizations toward disaster management following the recent floods in Nepal.
