KATHMANDU: Gagan Kumar Thapa has registered his candidacy for the post of president for the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress.
Thapa reached the National City Hall on Tuesday evening to file his nomination. According to the election committee, his candidacy was registered at 6:05 p.m.
The election committee had extended the nomination deadline until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, citing potential delays for some aspirants due to rainfall.
