Gold and silver prices drop in nepali market

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices declined in the Nepali market on Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The price of hallmark gold decreased by Rs 1,200 per tola, bringing the trading price to Rs 301,000 per tola. On Sunday, the precious metal was traded at Rs 302,200 per tola. The price for 10 grams of hallmark gold has been set at Rs 258,060.

Similarly, the price of silver also saw a reduction, dropping by Rs 40 per tola. The federation reported that silver is being traded at Rs 4,620 per tola on Monday, down from Rs 4,660 per tola on Sunday. The price for 10 grams of silver is now fixed at Rs 3,961.
