KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Govinda Bhattarai has filed his candidacy for the post of vice president for the party’s 15th general convention. Bhattarai is contesting for one of the two open category vice president positions.
A total of 7,114 representatives will cast their votes to elect the new leadership during the general convention. The central election committee has established an election office at the National City Hall to facilitate the distribution of nomination forms and the registration process.
The election committee has set the window for filing candidacies for the central working committee between 12:30 pm and 6 pm on Tuesday.
