KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley experienced heavy rain accompanied by hail on Tuesday afternoon. The sudden downpour resulted in significant waterlogging across several road sections in the valley.
The accumulation of water on the roads disrupted vehicular traffic and caused considerable difficulty for pedestrians. The water flow across road surfaces has created hazardous conditions for commuters throughout the afternoon.
In response to the situation, the traffic police have issued an advisory urging drivers to exercise high caution. Authorities have instructed motorists to maintain controlled speeds and drive carefully through the waterlogged areas to prevent accidents.
