KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives commenced on Monday at 1 pm. At the start of the session, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal is scheduled to read out the letter received from the Office of the President regarding the authentication of bills.
The agenda includes a proposal to be presented by Minister for Women, Children, Gender, Sexual and Gender Minorities, and Social Security, Sita Badi. She will move a motion to send the Children-related (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion.
Furthermore, on behalf of Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Balen Shah, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam will present a proposal to pass the National Service Corps Bill, 2083. The session continues with these legislative matters as part of the day’s scheduled business.
