KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives began on Wednesday at 1 p.m. The session has several bills scheduled for discussion and legislative action.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam is expected to move motions to send the Mediation (Second Amendment) Bill 2083, the Nepal Law Commission (First Amendment) Bill 2083, and the Free Legal Aid Bill 2083 to the respective committees for clause-wise deliberation.
Additionally, Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment Gita Chaudhary is scheduled to propose that the Infectious Animal Disease (Control) Bill 2083, which originated in the National Assembly, be sent to the relevant committee for further discussion.
The agenda also includes a proposal by the Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun to pass the National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill 2083.
