KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives session commenced on Monday morning. The meeting, which began at 11 a.m., includes an agenda for Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam to present the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2026, on behalf of Prime Minister Balen Shah.
Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security Sita Badi is scheduled to present the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Regarding Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security, 2026.
Additionally, Minister for Health and Food Hygiene Nisha Mehta will table the Bill to Amend the Mother’s Milk Substitute (Sale and Distribution Control) Act, 2026. Minister Mehta is also set to present the Bill to Amend the Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health Rights Act, 2026, the Bill to Amend the Security of Health Workers and Health Institutions Act, 2026, and the Ramraja Prasad Singh Academy of Health Sciences Bill, 2026, during today’s session.
