KATHMANDU: The song ‘Dhago Chhinyo Chharko’ from the film ‘Jhingedau 2’ has become a major hit, accumulating nearly 5 million views on YouTube within 12 days of its release. The track received over 500,000 views on the day of Teej alone, while thousands of users have created content using the audio on TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
Following the success of the Teej track, the production team released a new song titled ‘Ae Maya Najikai Sara’ on Tuesday, focusing on the upcoming Dashain festival. The song features lyrics and music by Arjun Pokharel, with vocals by Ramchandra Kafle and Shanti Shree Pariyar. The music video features lead actors Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, Mahesh Tripathi, and Kushal Bista.
Directed by Gyanendra Deuja, the film is scheduled for release on Sept. 18, coinciding with Constitution Day. The cast includes Hiunwala Gautam, Aaryan Sigdel, Basundhara Bhusal, Chaitya Devi, Saroj Khanal, Sangam Bhandari, Abhayraj Baral, Anshu Maharjan, Bijay Deuja, and Uttam KC.
Produced by Sulav Pratik Deuja and Samiksha Deuja, the project features cinematography by Bishnu Ghimire, editing by Mitra D. Gurung, and music by Arjun Pokharel. Ramji Lamichhane handled the choreography, while Roshan Shrestha directed the action sequences. The screenplay and dialogue were written by Parichhed Sen, based on a story by Govinda Phuyal and Shishir Chalise.
