KP Sharma Oli inspects flood damage in Dhading and Nuwakot

DHADING: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has conducted detailed on-site inspections across various flood-affected areas in Dhading and Nuwakot districts to assess the damage caused by severe flooding. During his visit to the affected regions, the CPN (UML) chairman interacted directly with impacted local residents to receive firsthand information regarding their problems, grievances, and immediate needs following the natural disaster.

Oli inspected disaster-hit communities in Galchhi of Dhading district as well as Belkotgadhi of Nuwakot district to understand the extent of physical damage and destruction. While visiting these affected locations, he engaged in direct dialogue with local citizens suffering from the crisis, inquiring about their personal loss, immediate hardships, pressing complaints, and urgent survival requirements.

In response to the natural disaster, various sister organizations affiliated with the CPN (UML) have been mobilized on the frontlines to provide essential assistance to affected citizens. Sister wings including the Youth Federation Nepal, All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT), and Overseas Nepalese Forum (ONF) are actively deployed in disaster-hit areas.

These affiliated organizations are currently conducting rescue operations and distributing relief packages to affected families, particularly in Galchhi of Dhading and surrounding regions. The party stated that these sister units are working directly in the field to support citizens in distress and deliver urgent relief materials to flood victims across both Dhading and Nuwakot districts.
