KATHMANDU: The National Assembly meeting has been adjourned until 1:15 p.m. on Monday, August 31. The session was put on hold following an explanation provided by the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam.
At the conclusion of the session, the chairperson of the National Assembly announced that the next meeting is scheduled for Aug. 31. During today’s proceedings, lawmakers raised serious questions regarding public livelihood, disaster management and the government’s working style. Following Minister Gautam’s explanation regarding her remarks, the chairperson adjourned the meeting.
