KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign exchange rates for Monday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one U.S. dollar is set at Rs 151.64, while the selling rate is Rs 152.24.
The buying rate for one European euro is fixed at Rs 170.44, with a selling rate of Rs 171.11. The British pound sterling has a buying rate of Rs 202.12 and a selling rate of Rs 202.92. Meanwhile, the Australian dollar is valued at Rs 105.34 for buying and Rs 105.76 for selling, while the Canadian dollar stands at Rs 107.25 for buying and Rs 107.67 for selling.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160.00, with a selling rate of Rs 160.15. Among other currencies, the Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 184.04 and a selling rate of Rs 184.77, while the Singapore dollar is set at Rs 118.50 for buying and Rs 118.97 for selling.
The central bank stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It further noted that the rates offered by commercial banks may differ slightly, and the latest updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
