KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for Monday. The buying rate for one U.S. dollar is set at Rs 153.10, with a selling rate of Rs 153.70.
The European euro is valued at Rs 175.82 for purchase and Rs 176.51 for sale. The UK pound sterling is set at a buying rate of Rs 205.08 and a selling rate of Rs 205.88. Meanwhile, the Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 108.99 and a selling rate of Rs 109.42, while the Canadian dollar is priced at Rs 109.44 for purchase and Rs 109.87 for sale.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160.00, and the selling rate is Rs 160.15. The Swiss franc is set at Rs 186.22 for purchase and Rs 186.95 for sale, while the Singapore dollar is at Rs 119.97 for purchase and Rs 120.45 for sale. For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is Rs 9.76 and the selling rate is Rs 9.80.
The central bank stated that these rates are subject to change at any time if necessary. It further noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
