According to the office, 1,722 customers in the district are currently using fiber internet services. While the service is currently limited to the district headquarters of Khalanga, efforts are underway with the central office to expand coverage to all eight local levels.

Telecom is operating 4G services from 20 locations and 2G services from seven locations in Jumla. A total of 24 towers have been installed across the district. Additionally, the company has established 22 towers in Kalikot and 19 in Mugu.

However, some areas, including Nipani in Guthichaur Rural Municipality-1 and parts of Tatopani Rural Municipality-8, remain without telephone access due to the lack of tower infrastructure. The office noted that work is being accelerated to expand communication services and strengthen network coverage in rural areas.
