NEPSE falls by 15 points, turnover hits Rs 4.19 billion

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 15.43 points on Wednesday, closing at 2545.40 points. The total turnover for the day reached Rs 4.19 billion.

During the trading session, the share prices of 74 companies increased, while 192 companies saw their values decline. The share prices of 11 companies remained unchanged.

Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower led the gainers with a 15 percent increase in its share price, while other stocks saw gains of up to 6.40 percent. Conversely, Emerging Nepal Limited and Sindhu Power experienced the sharpest decline, with their share prices falling by 14.99 percent each.

In terms of transaction volume, Reliance Spinning Mills recorded the highest turnover at Rs 420 million. Other companies recorded turnover amounts of up to Rs 170 million.
