KATHMANDU: The Nepal stock market saw a positive trend on Monday as the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index climbed by 18.07 points to close at 2560.84 points.
The daily turnover reached Rs 3.83 billion. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the share prices of 195 companies increased, while 79 companies recorded a decline. The share prices of 4 companies remained unchanged.
During the session, the share price of Pure Energy rose by 15 percent, while other stocks saw gains of up to 7.35 percent. Conversely, the share prices of Emergency Nepal Limited and Sindhu Bikas Bank fell by 15 percent. Additionally, Janaki Finance saw a decline of 14.99 percent, and Upper Lohore Khola Hydro dropped by 13.33 percent.
In terms of transaction volume, Reliance Spinning Mills led the market with a total turnover of Rs 250 million.
