KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah held a meeting with leaders from the main opposition party, the Nepali Congress. The meeting took place on Monday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.
Prime Minister Shah met with Congress parliamentary party leader Bhishmaraj Aangdembe, Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma, and other party leaders. The meeting was held for consultations ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit to the United Nations General Assembly.
Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to depart for the United States on Tuesday afternoon. He is set to address the United Nations General Assembly on Sept. 24.
