KATHMANDU: Prabhu Bank Limited has provided relief materials to families affected by the recent floods in the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers in Rasuwa. The bank distributed 100 tents and 100 sleeping bags to support those displaced by the disaster.
Dipendra Babu Bista, the bank’s chief marketing manager, handed over the relief items to the District Administration Office, Nuwakot, on Thursday. The assistance is intended to provide immediate support to families who lost their homes due to the flooding.
Previously, Prabhu Bank had contributed Rs 21,111,111 to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund established by the Government of Nepal. The bank has expressed its condolences to those who lost their lives in the disaster and wished for the swift recovery of the injured, while also calling for the rescue of those still missing.
