KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah held a courtesy meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Kikuta Yutaka (Maida Toru) at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Shah expressed his gratitude for the goodwill, support, and solidarity shown by the Japanese government toward the Nepali government and citizens affected by recent floods and disasters. Ambassador Toru expressed his condolences regarding the disaster and reaffirmed the Japanese government’s commitment to supporting Nepal in its post-disaster recovery and reconstruction efforts.
The two sides also discussed various aspects of the bilateral relationship and ongoing cooperation between Nepal and Japan.
