KATHMANDU: The real estate sector recorded transactions worth RS 720 billion 860 million in the last fiscal year 2025/26, data released by the Economic Research Department of Nepal Rastra Bank showed.
The Department stated that there was an increase in real estate transactions in fiscal year 2025/26.
According to the Central Bank, in FY 2024/25, transactions worth RAs 386 billion 150 million took place in the real estate sector.
In FY 2025/26, the total number of property transactions increased by 4.74 per cent compared to FY 2024/25. In comparison, in FY 2024/25, property transactions had decreased by 1.84 per cent compared to the previous year.
