HETAUDA: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has sought a 72-hour explanation from three of its provincial assembly members in Bagmati Province. The lawmakers have been asked to justify their actions following allegations of violating party directives.
Uddhav Thapa, the parliamentary party leader of the RPP in Bagmati, issued the notice requiring the members to submit their responses within the specified timeframe. The party claims that the members acted against the official stance of the parliamentary party, prompting an internal disciplinary inquiry.
The party leadership has indicated that if the members fail to provide a satisfactory explanation within the 72-hour deadline, further disciplinary action will be initiated in accordance with the party’s statutes.
